Apple Barbecue Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • ½ lb pork loin chops
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • ⅛ tsp onion powder
  • ⅛ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp butter
  • ¼ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup unpeeled apples, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1½ garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow dish.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Dredge chops in flour mixture until well-coated.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Brown pork chops on both sides. Top pork chops with onion, apple slices, barbecue sauce and garlic. Cover; simmer 30 minutes or until chops are tender.
