Marry Me Ravioli

Ingredients

  • 25 oz bag frozen ravioli
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • Onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 3–4 tbsp cornstarch
  • ⅓ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook Italian sausage with diced onion. At the end of cooking, add minced garlic; cook until fragrant.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together chicken broth, heavy cream, cornstarch, sun-dried tomatoes, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Whisk well.
Slow Cooker
  1. Add ravioli to the slow cooker. Add sausage mixture. Pour the liquid mixture over the ravioli and sausage. Top with butter.
  2. Cook on low 3–4 hours or high around 2 hours.
  3. Mix after an hour.
  4. Once cooked through, add Parmesan cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
Stovetop
  1. Cook ravioli in a large pot according to package instructions. Drain.
  2. Reduce heat and return ravioli to the pot. Add sausage mixture and pour liquid mixture over the top.
  3. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
