Smoky Barbecue Pork Ribs

Ingredients

  • ½ tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 lb boneless country-style pork ribs, trimmed
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 6 oz (½ can) beer or chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Combine paprika, garlic salt, and pepper. Rub over ribs.
  2. Place ribs in a greased 4-qt slow cooker. Stir together barbecue sauce and beer. Pour over ribs.
  Freezer Prep
  1. Add all ingredients to a gallon-sized freezer bag or container for instant pot.
  Cook in Slow Cooker
  1. Grease slow cooker.
  2. From frozen: Transfer into slow cooker. Cook on low 7–8 hours.
  3. From thawed or freshly made: Place in slow cooker. Cook on low for 5–6 hours.
  Cook in Instant Pot
  1. From frozen: Add contents into an instant pot. Cook for 50 minutes at high pressure, then allow 20 minutes for natural release.
  2. From thawed or freshly made: Transfer into an instant pot. Cook for 45 minutes at high pressure, then allow 20 minutes for natural release.
