Baked Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb radiatore or macaroni pasta
  • 8 oz shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼–½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3½ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ½ tsp minced garlic
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • Ritz crackers, crushed
Add-ins:
  • Chicken nuggets, unfrozen
  • Bacon bits
  • Broccoli
  • Shredded chicken

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  3. In an oven-safe skillet, pour milk, flour, and garlic. Whisk until blended. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil, whisking often. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining cheeses, mustard, and salt. Add pasta to skillet. Stir in sauce. Sprinkle evenly with cracker crumbs.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
