Creamy Bow Tie Pasta with Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) pkg bow tie pasta
  • 1 cup frozen peas*
  • 1 (15 oz) jar Alfredo sauce
  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chopped cooked ham (about 12 oz)
  • *1 (4 oz) jar diced or sliced pimientos, well-drained
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
*Or use fresh peas

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, adding peas during last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain in a colander.
  2. Heat Alfredo sauce and heavy cream in pasta pot. Stir in hot cooked pasta with peas, ham, pimientos and salt. Sprinkle with cheese.
  3. Serve hot.

Notes

  • If desired, add 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh dill or basil to the finished dish.
