Creamy Bow Tie Pasta with Ham
Ingredients
1 (16 oz) pkg bow tie pasta
1 cup frozen peas*
1 (15 oz) jar Alfredo sauce
⅔ cup heavy cream
2 cups chopped cooked ham (about 12 oz)
*1 (4 oz) jar diced or sliced pimientos, well-drained
½ tsp salt
1 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
*Or use fresh peas
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions, adding peas during last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain in a colander.
Heat Alfredo sauce and heavy cream in pasta pot. Stir in hot cooked pasta with peas, ham, pimientos and salt. Sprinkle with cheese.
Serve hot.
Notes
If desired, add 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh dill or basil to the finished dish.
