Cherry Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 crusts
  • 1 (16 oz) can pitted tart red cherries in water, drained
  • 1 (16 oz) can cherry pie filling
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup flour

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Prepare pie crusts for a 9” pie pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cherries, sugar, and flour; toss gently to mix.
  3. Spoon into the crust-lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edges and flute. Cut slits in several places in the top crust.
  4. Bake for 35–45 minutes or until juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
