Teriyaki Meatballs

Ingredients

Meatballs
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ lb ground pork
  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • ½ cup panko bread crumbs
  • 3 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • ½ tsp ground pepper
  • *⅓ cup water chestnuts, diced
Toppings
  • ½ cup Teriyaki sauce
  • *2 green onions, sliced
  • *2 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Gently stir together meatball ingredients (using your hands if necessary). Form 1–1½ inch meatballs, and place meatballs on prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly cooked.
  4. Toss meatballs in ½ cup Teriyaki sauce. Sprinkle on additional green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
