Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 crust
Filling
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
Topping
  • ½ cup whipping cream, whipped

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Prepare pie crusts for 9” pie pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; blend well.
  3. Pour into crust-lined pan.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Bake an additional 40–50 minutes or until the knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool for 30 minutes.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until serving time.
  7. Just before serving, top with whipped cream.
