Pumpkin Spice Trifle

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg spice cake mix
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 2 (8-oz) tubs whipped topping
  • 2 (3.4-oz) boxes french vanilla pudding
  • 1 (15-oz) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 (11-oz) pkg pecan sandies cookies
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice

Instructions

  1. Bake cake mix according to package instructions. Allow cake to cool completely. Crumble cake.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together 1 box pudding and 1 cup milk. Fold in 1 tub whipped topping. Stir in cream cheese.
  3. In another medium bowl, mix together 1 box pudding and 1 cup milk. Stir in pumpkin and pumpkin spice. Fold in 1 tub whipped topping.
  4. Crumble each row of cookies separately.
  5. In large bowl, layer ingredients: ½ cake crumbles, ½ pumpkin cream, 1 portion cookie crumbles, ½ cream cheese mixture. Repeat. Top with final portion of cookie crumbles.
  6. Cool in refrigerator until serving.

Notes

  • Could also add a layer of crumbled toffee candy or replace the cookie layer with a toffee candy layer.
