Dill Pickle Chex Mix

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Chex cereal (any variety)
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts*
  • 1 cup dill pickle chips, chopped
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp dill pickle juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • Salt, to taste
*Or your favorite nut

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the Chex cereal, pretzel sticks, roasted peanuts, and chopped dill pickle chips.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, dill pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, and a pinch of salt. Pour the butter mixture over the Chex mix and stir well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for about 30–40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes to ensure even baking.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, try adding a sprinkle of cayenne pepper or your favorite hot seasoning!
  • Store in an airtight container for freshness!
